I visited Dearborn Roastery to buy coffee beans. Since I’m new to brewing, I asked a simple question about how recently the beans were roasted. Instead of a clear answer, I was met with a sarcastic comment saying “since World War II”, which came across as rude. I genuinely like supporting local businesses, but it can be disappointing when the experience isn’t as welcoming as it could be. Sometimes all it takes is a smile and a kind word. Is that hard?

The place was filled with a lot of Arab products. It felt like shopping back home. Would definitely come back to support local businesses❤️

This store is wonderful. I bought the most delicious coffee from this store. The owner was the best part of my experience. He gave me great advice about how to prepare Turkish mastic flavored coffee. I also bought a mixture of nuts that is a burst of various flavors. They also have a cacophony of fantastic spices. This store is packed with many items that can really expand your enjoyment of food.

A great store in Dearborn. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. The roasted nuts were extremely tasty, and salty enough.
